Tydings Announces that Catherine K. Hopkin has become a Partner

Tydings, a Baltimore law firm that serves businesses in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, announces that Catherine K. Hopkin has become a partner of the firm.

Ms. Hopkin, who is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, focuses her practice on representing clients in various industries in Chapter 11 proceedings, workouts, liquidations, and financial restructurings. She is also experienced in bankruptcy litigation, and has represented trustees, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings, and creditors in Chapter 7 and 13 proceedings.  She regularly represents clients in all aspects of commercial foreclosures as well as tax sale foreclosures.

Ms. Hopkin is the Baltimore chair and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland.  She is also a member of the Communications Committee for the Greater Maryland Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).  In 2015, Maryland Super Lawyers named her to its list for the second consecutive year.
