Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland Elects Catherine K. Hopkin Chair of Baltimore Chapter

The Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland elects Catherine K. Hopkin chair of the Baltimore Chapter.  Ms. Hopkin has been an active member of the BBAM, serving the organization in various capacities, most recently as co-chair of the Baltimore Chapter.

Ms. Hopkin represents business debtors in complex Chapter 11 proceedings.  She also represents lenders and borrowers in commercial and residential foreclosures, tax sale foreclosures, confessed judgment actions, and other commercial litigation matters.

The Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland is the largest voluntary association of bankruptcy professionals in Maryland.  With hundreds of members, BBAM assists lawyers and judges in their work and sponsors initiatives to improve the bankruptcy system for the public, including providing pro bono services to low income individuals through a partnership with Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service.
