New Law, New Clients, New Questions

With Maryland's passage of the Civil Marriage Protection Act granting same-sex couples the right to marry, questions will arise as couples transition from domestic partnership arrangements to the traditional marital model. The Daily Record published an article entitled "New Law, New Clients, New Questions," which discusses the questions and challenges facing those couples and their advisors. Ferrier Stillman of Tydings' Family Law Department was interviewed for this article and provides insights into the Act and the questions it raises.
