Courtney B. Amelung

Ms. Amelung is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.  She assists clients in various industries with their litigation needs.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Amelung served as a judicial law clerk for Magistrate Judge Beth P. Gesner in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Ms. Amelung graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she served as Notes and Comments Editor on the Maryland Law Review.  During law school, she interned with The Honorable Jeffrey Michael Wachs on the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.  She also interned at the Department of Justice in the Office of International Affairs.  Additionally, she served as a research assistant to Professor Lee Kovarsky and participated in the University of Maryland’s Mediation Clinic.
