Mr. Timmerman is a counselor and trial lawyer who represents clients in the manufacturing, financial, construction, and insurance industries in complex commercial and business litigation before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators and mediators.

- Represent a national network of independent truck parts distributors in contract dispute with former stockholder;
- Defended federal complaint against a banking institution alleging fraudulent mortgage practices;
- Defended design professionals in negligence claim;
- Defended putative class action complaints arising under state and federal consumer protection laws;
- Defended manufacturer on alleged violation of a non-competition agreement;
- Pursued complaint on behalf of trustee against co-trustees for breach of fiduciary duty and successfully forced the return of commercial properties and assets worth several million dollars;
- Successfully defended a client in a business dispute involving claims of fraud and breach of contract;
- Arbitrated a proceeding related to disputes over easement rights in which the claimed economic impact exceeded $1,000,000; and
- Defended a client in an indemnification claim arising from concrete pumping truck explosion.

Leadership and Community Service
Outside his professional practice, Mr. Timmerman enjoys serving the Baltimore community as an active volunteer and leader in community affairs. Mr. Timmerman is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Baltimore Alumni Association and a member of the Advisory Board of Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays Unlimited. He is also Vice President of the Baltimore County Police Athletic League Board and a member of Mt. St. Joseph High School’s Hall of Fame Committee.
